Bob Czekaj.
Head Varsity Baseball Coach
Biography:
Coach Czekaj has 26 years of coaching experience and is entering his second season as the Wolves’ Head Coach. In addition to coaching high school sports, he has also been an Athletic Director at both Rappahannock County High School and Norfolk Collegiate School. Coach Czekaj graduated from Frostburg State University in Maryland where he played on the school’s baseball team. He is also an assistant coach for our football and girls basketball programs. He is a Certified Virginia High School League (VHSL) Coach and is licensed as a Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA). Coach Czekaj is a math teacher on our staff.

Selden Fristchner.
Assistant Varsity Coach
Biography:
Selden has more than 60 years of sports experience as a player, coach and administrator. Starting with Little League baseball, competitive swimming and tennis, he competed and coached at the high school and college level. As a coach, Selden has coached state, national and world champions in his career while as an administrator he participated in the organization and running of state, national, world and Olympic events. He has been involved in the John Paul the Great Athletics program since 2012, including two years as the Assistant Baseball Coach. This spring 2018 season Coach Fritschner will take over the program and is excited to share his passion for the game with the young men of JP.
